THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Japan Construction Accounts Manager. This role is pivotal in driving sales, customer service, and field support across large-scale construction companies in Japan. This is our first hire in Japan, and a successful candidate will have a critical role in growing ZaiNar’s presence in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales efforts for ZaiNar’s Construction Asset Tracking product within Japan.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and manage field support resources in Japan.
  • Coordinate and scale deployment efforts across various locations in Japan.
  • Ensure successful deployments and user adoption at construction sites.
  • Maintain regular communication with our USA team to ensure alignment.
MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES
  • Proven experience in sales, especially with technical products.
  • Strong customer support background.
  • Ability to find and manage field support resources in Japan
  • Resident of Japan with the ability/willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
  • Willingness to wear a hard hat and work in the field.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with an aptitude towards developing robust, high volume embedded software solutions. You will be writing applications on IoT devices that provide 3D indoor positioning using RF and communicate to cloud applications for a Bay Area, well-funded startup. You should have at least 1 year of working experience as a software engineer. Hands-on experience working with embedded Linux, or an RTOS is required. You should be comfortable with microcontroller peripheral control buses such as SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, etc., with at least some basic knowledge of device drivers, boot loaders, and communication protocol stacks. Signal processing experience and experience with DSPs is highly desired. This role is fast paced, supporting a variety of embedded platforms with the opportunity to be a key member on design and bring up a new embedded board for 3D positioning.

This role operates closely with Research, Hardware and business development teams. The successful individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to proactively solve problems and complete mission objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with the hardware team to test, verify, and prototype new hardware functionality. Design, code, and work on IoT devices.
  • Develop and implement algorithms utilizing peripheral I/O components (such as accelerometer) to improve positioning accuracy.
  • Develop software for IoT device provisioning, diagnostics, and telemetry.
  • Identify and champion proposals to reduce system cost, and improve system quality.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer with practical experience building great software. You will help to create the user interface delivering a highly-scalable, 3D location/positioning platform. You should have at least 7 years or more of experience as a frontend user interface developer. Experience building commercially-deployed software is also necessary. In your role, you will provide design and development expertise using best practices to build web and mobile user interfaces with ReactJS, React-Native, NodeJS, and Flutter.

This role operates closely with the backend software team and business development team. The successful individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to proactively see what needs to be done, and get it done.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, code and work ReactJS to build out our frontend web applications.
  • Develop in React-Native and/or Flutter to build our new mobile application.
  • Work with REST interfaces and WebSockets to create both customer and site setup/provisioning applications.

THE ROLE

ZaiNar is seeking a senior Algorithm and Signal Processing Engineer to lead software development on our embedded and cloud-based signal processing platforms. You will work with our Product, Software Engineering, and Hardware teams to define system requirements and develop/test applications optimized for state-of-the-art positioning system performance in presence of hardware and wireless channel impairments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish positioning system requirements and architect the system.
  • Implement state estimation algorithms in radio signal processing software.
  • Analyze, source, and select sensor solutions for use in the navigation system.
  • Develop sensor models in simulation for evaluation and then implement integration with the navigation system.
  • Test navigation software in simulation, hardware-in-loop, and live commercially-operated system.
  • Simulate hardware and wireless channel impairments of L1/PHY digital modulations (FSK, PSK, OFDM) to understand system performance, such as I/Q imbalance, clock synchronization, ADC noise, and AGC loop optimization.
  • Develop test software to support unit, integration, and system testing of all signal processing software functions.
  • Communicate system requirements to software engineering and hardware teams.
MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
  • Understanding of wireless communication systems.
  • Mathematical background in statistical signal processing, estimation, and detection.
  • Signal processing expertise in Matlab, GNU Octave, and/or Python.
  • Working knowledge of Python and/or C/C++ language.
